Grievance Redressal Cell
As part of our continuousattempt to ensure transparency in all the activities at different stages, Good Shepherd College of Educationoffers proper contrivance to student- teachers for redressing their grievances. This committee will deal with all the complaints directly which is related to the common problems at the Organisation level both the Academic and the Administrative. Anyone with anhonest and a genuine grievance may approach the members of the committee in person, or in consultation with the officer in-charge of Students’ Grievance Cell. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the letterbox/ suggestion box of the Grievance Cell at office. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the Students’ Grievance Cell.In case of false and frivolous complaint (if proved), the Grievance Redressal Committee will recommend Principal/ Disciplinary Authority to take appropriate action against the complainant. Complaints dropped in the ‘Suggestion Box’ by the students and the parents and theoral complaints are also redressed. All complaints are scrutinized by the management and the grievance redressal cell.
Objective of the cell
The objective of the Grievance Redressal Cell is to develop a responsible and positive attitude among students in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere within the campus of Good Shepherd College of Education.
Functions :
• The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students
• The cell formally will review all cases and will act accordingly as per the
Management policy
• The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of
pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher
authorities.
